Water has a great visual presence and adds great amenity and recreation value. At the same time water is incredibly important to our wildlife. In fact ponds and lakes have to be the quickest and easiest way to bring an amazing amount of wildlife into a landscape or garden

  

Whatever the scale of the project water is a uniquely fascinating element of any landscape or larger garden. Adding a pond or lake to the landscape has to be one of the best ways to create a focus or destination and to create an atmosphere and unique sense of place.
